Happiest Moment

To describe my happiest moment out of all the great moments I have experienced is impossible. All my happy moments brought me great joy at the given moment they occurred and I cannot choose one as the leading happy memory. However, one of the first happy moments that came up in my mind at first is one that gave me such joy that it is hard to attempt to describe. It was a Friday night, five days before my birthday. My classmates and I went to have dinner to a restaurant called El Churrasco. It was a pretty big deal because it is rare times that nearly the entire grade goes out on a Friday night together. After dinner, we were all going to go to the movies, however, I was not able to watch the movie. I had already bought my ticket and was walking down the dark aisle in search of the room were my movie was going to play. Down the aisle, I heard someone shout my name. It was a friend of mine and she was urging me to go with her and so I did. She grabbed me by the wrist and ran out of the movie theatre and into the restaurant area. I did not understand what was up with her, I thought she was just trying to bother me. She abruptly stopped, a smile from ear to ear plastered on her face. "You made me run here for nothing!" I shouted. She was looking elsewhere and I turned my gaze to where she was looking and I saw someone whom I did not think I was going to be able to see in yet another three months. My boyfriend was there, a huge smile on his face, waiting to see how I would react. He was much tanner than when I last saw him, and seemed taller. I jumped and hugged him and asked him what he was doing here. He had left to a tennis academy three months back and he was not supposed to come back for still another three months. I could not believe he was actually here, I had never imagined he would come. I felt as if in a dream, like I was floating around in a happy cloud, but it was going to burst any moment and I would wake up from this beautiful dream. But this was real. I could actually feel him hug me tight and lift me up. It was one of the happiest moments of my life. A moment of blissful surprise. He stayed for an entire week, one which I attempted to spend the most with him.
